Hi,

      I am

     claudia

     adiwijaya !

Hello, everyone!

I was wondering if you’d like to .. work together.

Born and raised in Jakarta, I am an interdisciplinary designer who currently resides in Vancouver, BC, Canada with having interest in industrial design,  communication design, and philoshophy. Recently, I just graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design major with Social Practice and Community Engagement as my minor from Emily Carr University.

Even though, I have been learning about design around the world-
HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd // Germany, Parsons School of Design // USA,
Red Academy // Canada, I still believe there are more things to learn!  Previously, I was designing at Hugo Boss in Germany, AZURE Booth at IDS West, Studio Corelam and more.

On top of Art and Design, I spend my spare time to travel, hiking, appreciating indie music and trying new things (and food) around the world. I speak fluent Indonesia, English, a bit of Deustch and Emojis.

My practice revolves around social change and speculative design. I like to inspect the value of things, culture, ideology and social system , taking a closer look at problems that are considered insignificant.

I believe the things that are essentials are invisible to the eye. For me, good design is not only about providing solutions.  Design should make us think, talk, and question. At its core, design prompts self-reflection, ignites the imagination and affects social change.

Therefore, I find it important to have immersive research in my design process to build connections and empathy through the power of storytelling.
